Product care

Product care

Would you like your belongings to remain in good condition for as long as possible? We can give you advice on how to best care for the different materials we use.

We attach great importance to the use of high-quality materials that match the product well. We often use wool, viscose and cotton in our products. In addition, many of our items are manufactured in Europe, which requires proper care. Therefore, please read the information below carefully after purchasing our items ❤️.

It is always important to start with the washing label found in the product. The information below is sample advice only.

General information

In general, we recommend washing our products at no warmer than 30 degrees and allowing them to air dry. Hand washing is often the best option. If you purchased a brightly colored item, wash it separately from other items of clothing the first time.

Have you purchased a knitted product? Be careful not to get caught on anything. If a loop does form in your beloved item, you can easily put it back so that the loop is on the inside and no longer visible.

Also make sure that the garment fits properly. So check the size advice that comes with the products or send us an email. This way you ensure that the item lasts as long as possible (too small or too large can lead to tearing).

For products with elastic, we advise not to pull hard on the elastic when putting on such an item. This can weaken and deform the elastic.

Care & washing instructions

Wool gives clothing a beautiful look and provides warmth! Clothing made from wool can last up to 100 years because of its good properties. If you are sensitive to wool (it can itch easily), we recommend washing the item immediately upon receipt. Wool should always be washed in cold water and should never be washed or dried at temperatures higher than 30 degrees. Wool is sensitive to deformation, so never put it in a high-speed wash cycle. Wool should always be dried flat and not simply hung on a clothes hook. It is normal that wool can pill or fluff over time, this is a natural process. You can prevent this by washing the item infrequently and causing little friction (for example with bags).

Viscose is a natural material that is also called artificial silk because of its supple and soft properties. It is airy and comfortable. Viscose is flexible, so it should never be warmer than 30 degrees and do not use high speeds. It is best to wash viscose by hand. If the item has shrunk, you can easily return it to its original shape by washing it again to loosen the fibers, followed by a good ironing. Viscose items should absolutely not be put in the dryer, as the high temperatures and fast spins can cause shrinkage and wrinkling.

Cotton is a light fabric known for its durability. In general, cotton does not require any special care. Cotton is sensitive to discolouration, so always wash it with the correct colors and do not hang cotton products in direct sunlight. Cotton is safe in the washing machine and can tolerate higher temperatures. If you are washing your cotton item for the first time, pay attention to possible shrinkage and use a lower temperature if necessary.

Please note that some products should not be washed in the washing machine at all, such as bikinis. Therefore, always read the washing label on the inside of the item.
